Dr. Jennifer Eisenstein APN, DNP

We are excited that you have stopped to browse our clinic’s page and look forward to the opportunity to be a part of the healthcare for you and your family. I am from Chicago, IL born and raised. I hold all of my nursing degrees from DePaul University. While attending DePaul University I had many opportunities to volunteer and share my passion for nursing with others. I am double board certified as a family nurse practitioner and a doctor of nursing practice. The focus of my doctorate was student health and wellness.
Since 2010, I have been working as a nurse practitioner. I was privileged to work together for several years with my father Dr. Mayer Eisenstein. His passion for healthcare, parental rights in guiding their children’s care, and overall wellness became part of my everyday practice. It is an honor for me to continue to share his legacy and vision at the Eisenstein clinic, where we offer comprehensive healthcare for everyone from newborns to adults.
I have four amazing children, all of whom were born at home. They teach me new things every day. Abby, Ethan, Jake, and Gavi are the driving force behind my desire to help keep healthcare honest, safe, and in line with nature’s norms. When I am not in the clinic I can be found online teaching future nurse practitioners, exploring local state parks, or walking our sweet English bulldog puppy, Duckie.
There is no greater joy in life than helping patients and their families acquire the healthcare they desire. It would be a pleasure to be a part of your healthcare journey.

Amanda Torres, APRN, FNP-C
I have been with The Eisenstein Clinic working alongside Jennifer Eisenstein since 2020. I am a board certified family nurse practitioner credentialed through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nursing from Olivet Nazarene University. Before becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, I worked as a staff nurse in labor and delivery. In May 2016, I won the Daisy Award for strongly advocating for my patient’s desires and beliefs.
The Eisenstein family has been a huge support system and inspired me to pursue a career in healthcare and helping others. I had the honor of completing clinical rotations with both Dr. Mayer Eisenstein and Dr. Jennifer Eisenstein during my nursing programs.
My vision of healthcare coincides with The Eisenstein Clinic’s values to treat each patient and family as unique individuals and utilize more natural alternatives when feasible. I value a parent's choice to decide what is best for their children. I will take the time to listen and work together with you and your family to establish a plan of care you are comfortable with.
I am happily married with four children at home, Ezra, Eliza, and Elena, and Eliot. I birthed my last three children at home with a certified nurse midwife. I look forward to forming strong relationships with my patients and their families.
